February 2024: Darius and Elysee both submitted their first research papers! Darius led a paper submission to the ASEE annual conference and Elysee was a co-author on another paper submitted to the same conference.

February 2024: A paper Stephanie co-authored in Science and Engineering Ethics, “Measures of Ethics and Social Responsibility Among Undergraduate Engineering Students: Findings from a Longitudinal Study,” was (finally!) published (after a three-year long review process!)!

January 2024: A paper co-authored by Stephanie in the Australasian Journal of Engineering Education won the best paper award for all papers published in the journal during 2022!

July 2023: Stephanie leads the first cohort of summer research students to Eldoret, Kenya with two colleagues from Purdue University, Dr. Kirsten Davis and Dr. Jennifer DeBoer. Learn more about the trip here!

August 2022: Stephanie receives a new grant from the National Science Foundation to send eight students every summer to do engineering education research in Kenya in 2023-2025. This grant is in collaboration with Purdue University. 

July 2022: Min Ha and Lizzy’s paper is accepted to the Frontiers in Education conference. They will be traveling to Sweden in October to present at the conference!

June 2022: Congratulations to our three graduating seniors, Aura Arciniega, Jozed Casimiro, and Lizzy Trueblood!
